VK4501(p) The Dragon kit has been modified with a Revell Tiger I turret and a coating of Zimmerit |
The dragon engine vents are backwards so they have been cut out and new louvers added then finished with etched grills |
Trumpeter suspension units and inner road wheels have been used to allow the dragon outer wheels to sit well back against the track guide horns. |
Now ready for etch and gun barrels |
The etch arrived, the brass fenders are amazing the tread pattern is great well worth the money |
All my models get a turned barrel, its got to be done these days they look so much better over the plastic offerings |
This is my first model to feature the new Aber turned machine gun, you can see yourself top class part |
Part etch really lifts the model |
All the etch and details have been added to the model and it is now ready at long last for paint. |

I have applied the base three tone camo scheme with my airbrush. |
The flat Paintwork will now have to be broght to life. |
An oil wash followed by dry brush highlighting should bring this camo scheme to life. |
Once the base camo had been weathered. I will pick out all the tools ect. |
Weathering and highlights have now been applied to the base three tone to give the flat paint some life. |
Towing cables have been painted allong with the tools. |
Decals were carfully applied with loads of Microsol and Klear to prevent silvering. |
The kit decals are too large, instead I used decals from the Dragon Elephant kit. |
